§ MR. McCRAE (Edinburgh, E.)To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the order, or regulation, in War Office Circular of 11th July, 1905, requesting General Officers Commanding to report results of a medical examination of Volunteers under their command as to fitness for active service abroad is still in force; if so, whether it is proposed to countermand the same; further, if he can say if any Volunteers were punished for non-compliance with the order; and what steps will be taken to deal with any such cases.
