WARDI beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether Lord Elgin has replied to the public petition of the inhabitants of British Guiana; and whether he intends to grant a commission of inquiry into the grievances contained in such petition, or otherwise take action to remove the complaints of the inhabitants.
