HC Deb 25 June 1906 vol 159 c620
MR. PIKE PEASE

To ask the President of the Board of Education whether he can state the exact amount that has been spent on the Poplar school at Hutton, Essex, to date; and whether the accommodation provided is for 600 children.

(Answered by Mr. John Burns.) My right hon. friend has asked me to reply to this Question. The total amount sanctioned in respect of the provision of these schools, including the cost of the site, is £156,515. I am not able to state the exact amount which has been spent on them. The schools are intended to accommodate 624 children.
