HC Deb 25 June 1906 vol 159 c605
MR. DUFFY

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what steps have been taken by the Estates Commissioners to investigate the complaint made in the memorial forwarded to them by a body of the O'Hara tenantry, near Gort; and will he state how the matter stands.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have entered into communication with the agent of the estate in question upon the subject of the petition which they have received from the occupiers of small holdings in the district. No proceedings for the sale of the estate have yet been instituted before them.
