MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that dissatisfaction has been expressed respecting the quality of the meat supplied to the troops stationed in Belfast; and whether he can state the firm to whom the contract was given.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) No complaint has reached the War Office regarding the quality of meat supplied under the Belfast contract, which is held by F. Boddy, of Liverpool.
