HC Deb 21 June 1906 vol 159 c343
MR. MOND (Chester)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to a riot at the Nourse mine on 16th June, caused by 400 Chinese coolies; and whether he can state what was the cause of the attack of these 400 Chinese coolies on the house of the compound manager.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) I have seen a statement in the Press to this effect and will make inquiry.
