HC Deb 19 June 1906 vol 159 cc39-40
MR. CLELAND (Glasgow, Bridgeton)

I beg to ask the Postmaster-General, when the vacancy at present existing in the post of medical officer to the post office at Glasgow will be filled.

MR. MITCHELL-THOMSON (Lanarkshire, N. W.)

May I also ask the Postmaster General, what steps he proposes to take to fill the vacancy for the office of post office medical officer for Glasgow?

MR. SYDNEY BUXTON

The district hitherto assigned to the medical officer at Glasgow has been too large for administrative convenience. Now that an opportunity of a e-arrangement has arrived, I propose to divide the district into several separate sections; and until a scheme has been decided upon I am unable to make any appointment.
