CAPTAIN CRAIGI beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether the allowance of 6d. a day in lieu of rations in kind, which has hitherto been regularly allowed for years past to men employed in the officers' mess of Militia regiments during annual training, may be continued in the future.
§ MR. HALDANEIt is not intended to change the past practice in regard to the issue of this allowance, and the point will be made clear in the regulations.
