§ MR. DELANY (Queen's County, Ossory)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have made any offer to Captain Caldbeck, Ballacolla, for the purchase of his estate; and, if so, can he say with what result.
(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have not yet made an offer for the purchase of his estate, but with a view to doing so, they have referred the matter to their inspector, whose report has not yet been received.
