HC Deb 04 July 1906 vol 160 c19
MR. O'SHAUGHNESSY (Limerick, W.)

To ask the Postmaster-General if he can say whether he will see his way to connect the trunk telephone system between Limerick and Tralee viâ Rathkeale, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale, and Listowel; and, if so, on what terms will he do so.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) Arrangements have been made for the connection of Tralee with the trunk wire system by means of a line to Killarney. It would not be possible to serve by a single trunk line the other towns mentioned in the Question, but I will consider the terms on which a telephone service could be offered, and will communicate with the hon. Member.
