HC Deb 20 February 1906 vol 152 c215
MR. GINNELL

TO ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the real reason why the Local Government Board have disallowed the application of Christopher Clinton for a cottage and plot in the scheme now promoted by the Delvin District Council under the Labourers' Acts, the reason alleged that the applicant is unmarried having been disregarded in other cases.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) This Question is based on a misapprehension. The Local Government Board have not disallowed the application referred to, for the reason that the case has not come before them. No representation on behalf of Clinton has been submitted to the Board.
