JENKINSTo ask the Secretary of State for War whether it is intended to remove the police lodge from the south-western gate of the Royal Army Clothing Department; if so, what are the reasons for so doing; and will he say whether, in view of the fact that the Building 1682 Works Department has no money in hand, it is intended to save the cost incurred by such removal by reducing the number of employees.
§ (Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The Answer is in the negative, but, even if the removal of the lodge had been decided on, the cost would not have been met in the manner suggested.
