FARRELL (Longford, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the 683 Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the enumeration of agricultural statistics in Ireland is deficient in that it does not contain tables of average and comparative prices of agricultural produce from different parts of the country; and will he direct that this omission be remedied next year.
MR. BRYCEInformation as to the average and comparative prices of agricultural produce in different parts of Ireland is published in the annual Returns of prices of crops, live stock, and other products, which is issued by the Department of Agriculture and presented to Parliament. The Department do not consider it desirable that this Return should be incorporated in the agricultural statistics.
