§ MR. GILHOOLY (Cork County, W.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether Dr. R. Bird's estate at Kilcrohane, Bantry, county Cork, was vested in the Congested Districts Board; and, if, so, whether striping and rearrangement of holdings will be immediately carried out so as to enable the tenants to earn money and thereby prevent their suffering from the partial failure of the potato crop.
MR. BRYCEI am informed that the estate in question was vested in the Congested Districts Board on 25th October last, and that the Board are now proceeding with improvement works on the estate.
