FARRELLTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland when the Report of the Royal Commission on Drainage may be expected; and when will he be in a position to direct the Board of Works to order such drainage works in the Cam and Clonwhelan district of North Longford as will prevent the constant flooding of these lends by the River Riffey.
§ (Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Commissioners inform me that they hope to present their Report on Arterial Drainage in Ireland early next month. It would not be possible to make any statements upon the matter referred to in the latter part of the Question until the Report has been received and considered.
