§ MR. PATRICK WHITEI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the estate of the late H. G. Hussey, Rathkenny, Slane, county Meath, has been sold to the tenants, and if the Estates Commissioners will purchase the untenanted portion for distribution among the labourers and occupiers of uneconomic holdings in the district.
MR. BRYCEThe Estates Commissioners inform me that the originating application lodged in respect of the estate referred to comprises, in addition to the tenanted land, some 200 acres of untenanted land which the vendor proposes to sell as parcels under Section 2 of the Act. The originating application has not yet been ruled on by the Commissioners.
