HC Deb 05 December 1906 vol 166 c923
MR. MACVEAGH (Down, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether the junior sorting clerk at Londonderry who has been nominated as overseer is the son of an appointed overseer at that office; whether the clerk in question has had experience; and whether the appointment can be reconsidered.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) The Question is not understood. There is no vacancy for an overseer at Londonderry, and no occasion has arisen for any nomination.
