HC Deb 30 April 1906 vol 156 cc220-1
MR. HALPIN (Clare, W.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Royal Commission on Coast Erosion applies to Ireland; and, if so, whether it will embrace the embankments protecting slob lands on the tidal rivers, such as the Shannon and the Fergus; and, if not, will he explain for what reason.

(Answered by Mr. Lloyd-George.) It is intended that the Royal Commission † See (4) Debates, cliii, 1233. should deal with the coasts of the United Kingdom and the banks of tidal rivers.
