THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR WAR (Mr. HALDANE,) Haddington

This money is taken for the civilian members of the Explosives Committee, who are not in Government service. Last year they were Lord Rayleigh, President Sir A. Noble, and Sir W. Crookes. No other duties were performed or emoluments received by them so far as the War Office was concerned.
