REDDY (King's County, Birr)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland how many cases of concealment of birth were reported to the authorities in Ireland during the past twelve months; what percentage of these were in the province of Ulster, and what percentage in the city of Belfast.
§ MR. WALTER LONGDuring the year 1904 there were forty-one cases, of which seventeen were in Ulster, including Belfast, and four in Belfast. These figures represent approximately 41 and 10 per cent. respectively.
