REDDYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state how many cases of burglary and housebreaking were reported to the police in Ireland during the year ending April 19th; what percentage of these were in the province of Ulster, and what percentage of these in the city of Belfast.
§ MR. WALTER LONGDuring the year 1904 there were 475 cases, of which 188 were in Ulster, including Belfast, and 127 in Belfast. These figures represent about 39 and 26 per cent, respectively.
