HERBERT SAMUELTo ask the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in view of the forthcoming discussions on the Finance Bill, he will be able to present, at an early date, the Return relating to systems of graduated and differentiated income-tax in British Colonies, ordered on August 11th, 1904.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Lyttelton.) The Autralasian Governments have not yet replied to the telegrams referred to in my Answer to the hon. Member's Question of March 22nd,f but every effort, will be made to present the Return at the earliest possible date.
