§ MR. SOARES (Devonshire, Barnstaple)To ask the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether, in giving instructions for the inquiry to be held with regard to the wreck of the ship "Khyber," he will order that the efficiency of the coastguard service in the neighbourhood be inquired into.
(Answered by Mr. Bonar Law.) In holding the inquiry ordered to be held in the case of the "Khyber," due regard will be had to the question of the efficiency of the coastguard, in so far as it is relevant to the case.
