§ MR. LAWRENCE (Liverpool, Abercromby)I beg to ask the Under-secretary of State for Foreign Affairs when he proposes to issue further correspondence on the subject of contraband of war, in view of the fact that the recent Parliamentary Paper (Russia No. 1,1905) contains no correspondence subsequent to October, 1904; if any modification of the attitude of the Russian Government on the subject has been notified; and, if not, whether His Majesty's Government is continuing to make representations on the subject.
§ EARL PERCYThe correspondence which has taken place since October relates only to the claims presented by His Majesty's Government. No ground of complaint against the action of the Russian naval authorities has arisen subsequent to the issue by the Russian Government of the supplementary instructions referred to on page 26 of the correspondence already laid.
