MR. O'KELLYI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can say whether any negotiations have taken place, or whether negotiations are pending, between the Congested Districts Board or the Estates Commissioners and the owners of the O'Donnell and Coyne Estates, in Erris, county Mayo, with a view to sale and purchase.
§ MR. WALTER LONGThe Congested Districts Board made an offer in the Land Judge's Court for the purchase of the O'Donnell Estate, but the offer was not accepted. With this exception the Answer to the Question is in the negative.
