Ossory)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will state how many inspectors have been appointed under the Land Purchase Act,1903, the religion, nationality, addresses, and previous experience of those officials, and in whom the appointments are vested.
§ MR. ATKINSON (for Mr. WYNDHAM)The Government has no knowledge of the religion or nationality of these inspectors, and cannot undertake to make inquiry in the matter. A Return is in preparation, however, and will shortly be laid on the Table, giving information as to the names and qualifications of these officers in the form of Parliamentary Paper, No. 151, of the session of 1902.
