HC Deb 28 June 1905 vol 148 cc377-8
CAPTAIN NORTON (Newington, W.)

I beg to ask the hon. Member for Chorley, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, if he can state upon what grounds electrical landaulettes are excluded from Hyde Park between the hours of four and seven p.m. seeing that they emit no offensive odours and are limited by their construction to slow speed.

LORD BALCARRES

They are excluded in the interests of the public who do not use motor-cars.
