HC Deb 28 June 1905 vol 148 c381
MR. WILLIAM ABRAHAM

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the total amount expended by the Board of Agriculture and Technical Instruction on the erection of a barn and heating apparatus for drying tobacco leaf on the estate of Colonel Everard; and whether the building and plant will become the property of this gentleman at the end of the experiments.

MR. WALTER LONG

The amount expended was £1,725. The building and equipment remain the property of the Department, and will be disposed of by them on the completion of the experiments.
