HC Deb 23 June 1905 vol 147 c1435
MR. MARKS (Kent, Thanet)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the inconvenience, caused by the transmission of letters to Ash, Eastry, Staple, Worth, Woodnesborough, and Wingham via Dover instead of via Sandwich, by which route they were formerly sent, and in view of the fact that the villages named are adjacent to Sandwich, which is also their railway station, he will consider the advisability of again having postal matter for those villages sent via Sandwich.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I will have inquiry made on the subject, and will communicate with the hon. Mmember in due course.
