§ DR. AMBROSETo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in the carrying out of the marine works in county Mayo, for which a grant has been made under the Marine Works (Ireland) Act; and if he can say whether those works will be commenced in the near future.
(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) This matter is still under consideration, and, as I informed the hon. Member on Thursday† last, I am not yet in a position to make a definite statement on the subject.
