§ MR. BOLAND (Kerry, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Congested Districts Board will undertake the construction of a road into the townland of Dreenavurrig from the public road leading from Sneem to Waterville, in view of the fact that the people of this town-land, where upwards of twenty families reside, have to bring their cattle and sheep and cars and donkeys by boat in order to reach a public road.
§ MR. WALTER LONGThe Board have not received any application for 863 assistance in this matter. Their funds for public works have been allotted for the current year.
§ MR. BOLANDIs the right hon. Gentleman aware that this road was inspected two or three years ago?
§ MR. WALTER LONGVery likely. We have an enormous number of applications, but only a very small proportion can possibly be granted.
