§ MR. CAUSTONI beg also to ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether he will now give an answer to the petition of the upper section non-pensioner watchers which was presented in November last.
§ THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY OF THE TREASURY (Mr. VICTOR CAVENDISH,) Derbyshire, W.The Treasury is now considering certain proposals which have been submitted by the Board of Customs relating to the Customs watchers, and I expect to be in a position to make a statement thereon soon after the recess.
