HC Deb 31 July 1905 vol 150 c905
MR. HARMSWORTH

To ask the Lord-Advocate whether, in view of the recommendation of the Departmental Committee on the Sea Fisheries of Sutherland and Caithness, he will state at what points on the coast of Caithness he proposes to erect boatslips for the vise of the fishermen.

(Answered by Mr. Scott Dickson.) Any applications for the erection of boatslips in the congested parishes of Sutherland and Caithness will be referred by the Secretary for Scotland to the Congested Districts Board for consideration. I am not in a position to suggest the points at which the construction of such boatslips maybe considered advantageous and, from the point of view of expense, justifiable.
