To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention ha been called to the fact that Lord Norbury in March, 1903, took his tenant, Mr Martin Barrett, of Parke, near Castle bar, county Mayo, into Court with a view to raising the rent from £6 15s. per annum to £10 per annum; that the Court fixed be rent at the original figure, viz., £6 15s., carrying with it the right of turbary; and that, notwithstanding the decision if the Court, the tenant is prevented by be bailiff, Mr. Thomas Moran, from exercising his right of cutting turf; and will he say whether he proposes to take my, and, if any, what, action in the matter.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) This case is the subject of an appeal from the ruling of the County Court Judge by both be landlord and the tenant, and, pending decision on the appeal, I must decline to discuss the matter through the medium of a Question.
