Return ordered, "showing, according to the accounts for the twelve months preceding the 31st day of March, 1905, furnished to the Local Government Board under Section 1 (7) of The London (Equalisation of Rates) Act, 1894—

  1. (1) The amounts paid during the year out of the Equalisation Fund under the Act to the Corporation of the City of London and each of the Councils of the Metropolitan Boroughs to whom payments out of that fund were made.
  2. (2) The amount of the expenses incurred during the year by each of these authorities (a) under The Public Health (London) Act, 1891 (including expenses of scavenging streets); (b) in respect of lighting; and (c) in respect of streets (other than the expenses of scavenging); and
  3. (3) The amount expended during the year by each such authority out of the sums received by them under the Act (in continuation of Parliamentary Paper, No. 325, of Session 1904)."—(Mr. Jeffreys.)
