HC Deb 20 July 1905 vol 149 c1390
MR. DOOGAN (Tyrone, E.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether Constable Finnigan's recent transfer from Coalisland to county Longford was the result of charges preferred against him; and, if so, can he state the nature of the charges, the names of the persons who made them, and how they were investigated.

MR. WALTER LONG

The Inspector-General directed the transfer of this constable in the interests of the public service and at the public expense. He was not transferred on punishment.
