HC Deb 19 July 1905 vol 149 c1172
MR. CHARLES ALLEN (Gloucestershire, Stroud)

To ask the Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs what steps have been taken to enforce the Article of the Mürzsteg programme providing for exemption from one year's taxation for Christian villages burnt in 1903.

(Answered by Earl Percy.) According to the information received by His Majesty's Government it would appear that the inhabitants of villages destroyed during the insurrection have in general been exempted from one year's taxation or have received relief in some other form.
