HC Deb 13 July 1905 vol 149 c534
MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

To ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will endeavour to obtain facilities for the Second, Reading of the Tuberculosis (Animals) Compensation Bill, which passed Second Reading last session without a division being taken.

(Answered by Mr. Gerald Balfour.) As I have already stated, I sympathise with the object of the Bill, but I am afraid that at this period of the session facilities could not be given for the further progress of any private Member's Bill which is not entirely uncontroversial.
