HC Deb 10 July 1905 vol 149 c75
MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant. of Ireland if be can explain the cause of delay in presenting the Reports of the Irish Poor Law Reform Commission.

(Answered by Me. Walter Long.) There has been no avoidable delay. The proceedings of the Commission, which have necessarily been very exhaustive, are approaching completion, and the Commissioners hope to present their Report before the close of the present year.
