HC Deb 05 July 1905 vol 148 c1116
MR. FIELD (Dublin, St. Patrick)

To ask the Secretary to the Board of Trade whether his attention has been directed to the preferential rates granted to foreign imports generally, and in particular to the carriage of meat; and whether he will cause inquiry to be made and a Report issued upon this matter.

(Answered by Mr. Bonar Law.) I assume the hon. Member's Question relates to rates charged on railways, and I would refer him to the reply given to a similar Question on the 21st February.†
