HC Deb 05 July 1905 vol 148 cc1115-6
MR. SLOAN (Belfast, S.)

To ask the Postmaster-General if he is now in a position to state the nature of the indoor duties for postmen in certain provincial offices for which, on the 26th January last, he promised to grant special allowances; also when he proposes to announce his decision to those interested.

(Answered by Lord Stanley.) I am considering in detail the nature of the duties for which these allowances will be given as well as the allocation of the allowances, and I will announce my decision in due course to the officers concerned.
