HC Deb 03 July 1905 vol 148 c743
MR. SLOAN

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to notices posted up in the neighbourhood of Loughrea, warning people to keep aloof from the occupier of the Caherhenryho Farm; will he say what action has been taken by the police with respect to these notices; and whether any clue has been obtained as to their authorship.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) Yes, Sir, my attention has been directed to these notices, which were of a specially reprehensible character. They were removed by the police as soon as they were observed, and every endeavour is being made to trace their author.
