HC Deb 10 August 1905 vol 151 c931
MR. BRYCE (Aberdeen, S.)

To ask the hon. Member for Chorley, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether he will state the annual average cost per mile of maintaining the roadways in Hyde Park, Regent's Park, and Richmond Park, respectively.

(Answered by Lord Balcarres.)

Hyde Park £1,100 per mile.
Regent's Park £300 per mile.
Richmond Park £50 per mile.
Hyde Park is the most expensive on account of the very large traffic, but it is proposed to make a material increase on the Regent's Park expenditure next year.
