WEIRI beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he is aware that the deer forest area in five Highland crofting counties, viz., Argyll, Inverness, Ross and Cromarty, Sutherland, and Caithness, increased between the years 1898 and 1904 by 424,957 acres; and will he state whether he proposes to take any steps to prevent further extensions of the area.
