HC Deb 02 August 1905 vol 150 cc1314-5
MR. WEIR (Ross and Cromarty)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will consider the desirability of suggesting to Lord Cromer the expediency of writing Reports showing the progress of Egypt, on lines similar to the Reports showing the progress of India.

(Answered by Earl Percy.) His Majesty's Government see no reason to suggest any alteration in the form of Lord Cromer's annual Reports on Egypt and Soudan, which seem to them admirably suited to their purpose.
