§ SIR CARNE RASCH (Essex, Chelmsford)To ask the President of the Local Government Board whether the instruction to Boundary Commissions on Parliamentary Redistribution will contain directions as to the areas; and, if so, whether such areas will be rural sanitary districts or petty sessional divisions.

The instructions to any Boundary Commissioners who might be appointed would, no doubt, contain directions as to the considerations to which regard should be had in determining the boundaries of electoral areas, but I am not at present prepared to say what these directions should be.
