HC Deb 02 August 1905 vol 150 c1321
MR. FIELD

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will consider the advisability of arranging, by legislation or otherwise, that Irish Members shall be enabled to travel free to and from the House of Commons during the session, seeing that such an arrangement prevails respecting Members of Parliament in the Colonies.

(Answered by Mr. Walter Long.) It does not rest with me to consider the question of the feasibility or otherwise of making such arrangements.
