HC Deb 19 April 1905 vol 145 c593
DR. SHIPMAN (Northampton)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for India whether, in view of the agitation in India caused by Lord Curzon's University legislation and other recent enactments, he will take steps to remove the causes of this dissatisfaction.

THE UNDER-SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Earl PERCY,) (for Mr. BRODRICK) Kensington, S.

I see no reason to take any such action as is suggested by the hon. Member with regard to the recent legislation of the Indian Government.
