MR. PATRICK O'BRIEN (Kilkenny)

On behalf of the hon. Member for the Northern Division of Dublin County, I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been drawn to the complaints made of the condition of Howth Harbour at the last meeting of the North Dublin Rural District Council, and especially to the statements made as to the necessity for a repairing slip in that place; and whether he will recommend the Board of Works, in whose charge Howth Harbour is placed, to take some action towards satisfying the public requirements mentioned.

THE FINANCIAL SECRETARY or THE TREASURY (Mr. VICTOR CAVENDISH,) Derbyshire, W.

The attention of the Board of Works has not been drawn to the condition of Howth Harbour. Any representations made to it will be considered.
