To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the strength at which it was decided to maintain the Royal Irish Constabulary free force quota in the county of Mayo at the triennial redistributions in 1897 and in 1900.

(Answered by Mr. Atkinson.) At the triennial redistributions in 1897 and 1900 the free force of the county of Mayo was fixed as follows:—In 1897, 474 sergeants and constables; in 1900, 515 sergeants and constables.
